Here are some pictures we took a couple of weeks ago at Brooklyn Bridge Park in DUMBO.  Beck loved the boat themed playground, and we stopped in for some yummy chocolate at Jacques Torres Chocolate before heading home.  It was a beautiful day - it was so nice to have a break from the rain that seems to be a daily occurrence around here recently.

Mac turned 2 months old on June 28th. He is such a sweet baby who likes to kick A LOT! He's easy to smile and giggles while getting dressed because he's so ticklish. Happy Father's Day to the best Daddy in the whole world!We had a fantastic Father's Day weekend.  It was rainy on Saturday, but weather cleared up for the annual 7th Heaven street fair on Sunday.  We had a lot of fun walking down 7th Avenue checking out all the goods.We ate ice cream (well, the kids did anyway)and stopped to check out the dunk tank.We then headed home and had a relaxing afternoon.

I can't believe our little guy is already a month old. Mac is doing really great and sleeping in longer stretches at night. He's still a bit on the smallish side (8 lbs), so per doctors orders we are now supplementing with formula.  We had to do that with Beck too (apparently I produce low-fat milk!)  Here are some recent pictures.

Beck had his first trip to the dentist recently, and we are very happy to report that his visit went great!  The dentist put in the Cars movie while he counted Beck's teeth & cleaned them, which was a nice distraction.  Beck was the perfect patient, and was very excited to get home to use his new Cars toothbrush!!Beck was "hiding" - he wasn't too sure he wanted to go to the dentist "Here I am!"

When we moved into our building almost a year ago, all we heard about was how great the block parties were on our street. Since block parties in our neighborhood only happen once a year, we had to wait quite awhile to see how great it was for ourselves.  Well, the block party was a couple of weeks ago, and I have to say it was one fantastic party that went on all day & late into the night!

Today is Grandma Ali's birthday! While in Maryland we spent some non-water time on the Boardwalk.  The kids did an amazing job walking almost 3 miles on the boardwalk.  We had forgotten Beck's stroller at home in Brooklyn, and I thought for sure we'd have to buy him one, but he kept up pretty well and did a ton of walking.  So much walking in fact, that we had to stop and take a break for some ice cream!And check out some fun
