I'm behind on blogging about the holidays and will work on that soon, but just had to share this.  Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

A glimpse into our mornings lately. . .

Ever since Beck has been in his big boy bed, my sleep til 7 boy, has turned into a much earlier riser - ugh! At first he'd wake up, turn on the t.v. and watch some Sesame Street. More recently we've been finding him watching t.v. without any pants on. And yesterday I found him doing this. . . Not the greatest pictures because I took them with my phone, but the pantless boy brought a stool from his room to the Christmas tree, so he could reach the candy canes! And then this morning he was at it again, (but this time with pants).

The funny thing is, for the last few months every night when I'm tucking him into bed he tells me "Becker go to sleep and when Becker wake up Becker have c-a-n-d-y," and I think keep dreaming kid, we don't have candy for breakfast. Persistance has paid off, the boy has proved me wrong - apparently it is possible to have candy for breakfast!!

It's a. . .                

BOY!

Some of you may be thinking you missed a previous post announcing we're expecting.  No need to worry - you didn't miss anything.  I kept thinking "I'll post when I'm feeling better," which seemed to take forever this time around.  As I started my 18th week I was still feeling horrible.  I would wake up feeling fine until I ate something, anything, it didn't matter what it was, and the day went downhill from there.  I began to think I was going to be part of the 5% of women who are sick their entire pregnancy, which I was not looking forward to.  I decided to ask my OB for the same prenatal vitamins I took when I was pregnant with Beck, because I couldn't stand the smell of the new ones - and that did the trick!  The last 2 weeks have been great - just in time for the holidays!

We're excited about the new addition to our family this spring, and we're hoping to agree on a name before he gets here.  If anyone has any suggestions on boys names that end in r please send them our way - they'd be greatly appreciated!
