KC & I made the big move to NYC together, and we both had to adjust to life and the winters out here. That first winter KC was not a fan of the snow - and one morning, after the first snow storm of the year, I took him out for a walk and after a couple of minutes he refused to walk. He just laid down in the snow and refused to get up. I was already dressed for work, and in quite a hurry - but he wouldn't budge. I ended up carrying him, all wet and dirty, back to the apartment. Needless to say I had to change my clothes before heading to work. The good news is he got used to the snow and cold pretty quickly (much faster than I), and now he will even run and jump in the snow banks that have been shoveled.

KC is so wonderful with the kids and always has been. Sweet-T likes to dress him up, and KC sits there so patiently and just endures. And now that the Beckman is older he spends a lot of time saying, "No, KC no," and "No barking KC," even when he's not barking or doing anything wrong. It's pretty funny.
